It always amazes me to watch people start their own businesses, spend tons of time planning, setting goals , establishing systems, advertising and gathering knowledge.
When that’s all done there seems to be a disconnect from the “office”, to actually attracting customers.
After so many years in business, I totally believe the only way to find and sustain customers is “being with the people”. Relationship selling is nothing new. It’s very simple and absolutely crucial!
People do business with people they know, like, and have a product they want! It is not done behind your desk or computer.
The aversion or fear of talking to people you don’t know tells me that your GOAL isn’t big enough! Belief in an exciting goal can inspire you to step out of your comfort zone.
You will feel fear…..oh well….DO IT ANYWAY! I don’t know any other way to get past this. Practice, practice, practice will create success and the discipline to sustain it. People have to know who you are and what you do!!
